Tybee Island (north beach)
Quiet Georgia option. Limited but real - Pleistocene-reworked finds, especially after the 6+ ft tidal swings the GA coast routinely hits.
Walk the wrack line at low tide on the north end near the jetty.
North Beach lot ($$ paid parking), restrooms, public access.
Beach surface collecting allowed.
- Strong inlet currents at the jetty
- Heat & humidity
- GA's tidal range (6-8ft!) is your best friend here
- After hurricane swell windows are excellent
Shark teeth findable here
Trophy = headline find · Rare = real score · Uncommon = some trips · Common = most trips.
